DOLORES – SALON DIRECTOR
I started a 3 yr apprenticeship at age 16,no regrets, definitely the right career path for me , and still enjoying hairdressing to this day!
I worked in London hair salons straight after my training, which led me to my hairdressing career at sea.Working on S.S Canberra and Cunard QEII. Hard work, long hours, but SO rewarding, seeing the world at age 20!
This gave me the confidence to come back and open up my own salon at age 21 in Luton. It ran for 15 years alongside the Biggleswade branch until we sold in 2003.
Juggling bringing up a family and running the business was tough, but to this day, I wouldn’t choose to do anything else, the camaraderie amongst the team, the relationships, friendships and laughs with clients. The exchanges of knowledge from our varied clients on a daily basis, makes being at work a pleasure, and never feel like work !
Hours:Hours: Wednesdays and Saturdays.
